It’s a small family run cafe with a lot of offerings. Previously known as BlueBird cafe, bought and renamed by  Glen and Kristine Pires, who moved to  Saint John, NB, Canada from Dubai, United Arab Emirates in 2018. After spending a year in Saint John, NB moved to  Moncton in 2019.

Glen Pires has a strong Food & Beverage background from India and Dubai, U.A.E mostly working in 5 Star Luxury Hotels in various departments like All Day Dining Restaurant, Specialty Restaurants, Banquets and lobby lounge and Casual Dining in the capacity of Restaurant Manager and above. Also working locally as Food & Beverage Manager at Delta Saint John and as District Manager for a local group with Fast food outlets and Casual Dining restaurants.  Major Achievements of winning 3 consecutive awards in 2017 for one of his Restaurant. 

Kristine Pires has previous experience as Office Manager in Dubai and worked as Human Resources coordinator for a local group with around 1200+ employees. Presently working as a Senior Recruiter for a Financial institute. She has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and has also recently successfully completed her course in Payroll and Accounting with Honors through a recognized college.

Looking at the rapid growth of Moncton, NB and the demand for vivid cuisine and taste, The Cafe by G was introduced and a platform to serve the Greater Monctonians something unique and different with budget friendly. Nothing fancy but just pure hospitality service and homemade kind of food. The Menu consists of a little bit of Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, Asian and North American. Offering the Daily Specials is an  opportunity to introduce new kinds of food from around the world. More interactive and live cooking concept, where the aim is for our guests also to be part of the process, as we cook their meal. It’s the whole experience that makes the difference either, dine in or take out.  In the near future we also plan to extend our services through event catering and special orders. As they say “Sky’s the limit “ we look forward to introducing new themes on special days of the weekends. Recently introduced “ The Indian Breakfast Bazaar“ every Saturday.
